That would seem to indicate a 12V problem to the furnace. My best guesses would be a fuse blown or something wrong with the thermostat. I'm assuming that your lights are all working. Try running the temp all the way up and let it set for ten min. or so in case there's a timer on it for some kind of cool down cycle. It MIGHT start up if that's the case.

The blower would still run without propane.

I have been reading every forum on this I can find. I'm hooked up to shore 30amp power everything else works. No fuse or breacker blown that I can see. I just switch over to other new lp to be save I have as at the range. This suburban has no out side or inside access like the atwoods do all i can see is the heat exchanger

I know this is a pretty generic question and its probably asked once a week . the suburban owners manual had no useful info in it and I'd like to start over on a better note today unfortunately with out a shower since its very cold in here 31 degrees outside, I guess my luck for going out in April but does anyone else have any suggestions? I don't have a mulit tool to test voltage but the camper, the battery are both new and I'm hooked up to power so the 12v should not be a problem right? Any ideas?

Thanks again

Did you turn it off and back on after switching over the LP? If you ran out of fuel it goes into a lockout. Once you switch over you then need to cycle the power to clear the lockout.

Pull the thermostat off the wall and check if any wires came loose.

I have turn on and off a few times, made it call and not call. The only sound I hear after cycling though the fan, ac, heat. . is a single click that seems to come from the ac 5 second after heat is turned on and and again 5 seconds aafter turned off

Might just need to purge the air from the lines then. Light the stove to be sure you're getting propane from the tank, then cycle the furnace a few more times to see if it lights.

If not, then you might have some kind of blockage.

You can purchase an electric heater to use for now to save the rest of the trip?

Troubleshoot to see if the thermostat is bad:

Undo the terminals for the two wires connecting the thermostat to the furnace and pull off the wires. Make a note of which wire goes to which terminal. In most thermostats, the wires are held by screw terminals. Unscrew the terminals with your screwdriver. Don’t allow the wires to drop into the wall cavity. If there are more than two wires, undo the red and white wires. These are the standard colors for the wires that activate the furnace.
Twist the ends of the wires together.

Turn on the furnace power and watch the furnace. If the burners come on and the blower starts, then the thermostat is defective and must be replaced. If the furnace still doesn’t start, the problem is somewhere other than the thermostat.

Try this if you have the dometic t-stat make sure the fan speed is set to auto not high or low if I have mine set to high or low and want heat my ac will come on at the same time that may be stopping your heat all together

I have gas the range works and lights. The fan is on auto I remember them telling me that. T-stat is next on the list . i feel bad the kids are still in good spirit even being cold. "Dad I can see my breath" while eating breakfast. I thought about electric heaters last night but its a 45 min drive to town and Spending $50 on a electric heater after spending 30k on a camper two weeks ago makes me sick

Electric heater will pay for it self in the long run as you will use the campground electricity instead of your propane.

If thermo troubleshooting does not work call the dealer and see if they can troubleshoot over the phone. They may agree to a mobile tech reimbursement under warrantee. Check with the campground if they have a tech or a # for a mobile tech.

One thing I missed is that you said your ac was making a clicking noise make sure when you are trying to get the furnace to run is make sure when you push the mode or source button on the t-stat it says furnace not heat it may be trying to get heat strips that are not in the ac to turn on that may be why the ac is making a clicking noise

Jumping red to white doesn't do anything. I still think its weird the ac makes that one click sound. My digital stat only has fan, cool, furnace, on off mode buttons

Always in heat mode use low speed. And those breakers can look on and be tripped, you probably have tried tripping the furnace on/off. Don't know if your electrical plug in to the furnace could have come loose. Had a pin in my connector not making good contact heating the breaker & tripping. Sorry you are having problems. We always bring the space heaters just in case. Good luck!

Here's a link to a youtube video on a Surburban Furnace. You can try shorting across the high temp limit switch to see if that failed? This may not be your model but should be similar. You can google your model # to see if there is any troubleshooting info online.
