DW disclosure!!

Okay, DW here with full disclosure. Pretty sure the alarm went off because at some point I probably bumped against the stove knob! It was slightly on when the alarm went off at 4am!!!! All is good now. We left propane off rest of weekend to be safe, ordered child (DW) proof knob covers and will double check that was the issue before next trip.

On a side note, our other adventure of the weekend was water pressure issues. Turns out that was my fault too as our first trip out in the new camper, left the water pump on all way home and water had been drained......sigh so lot of air in the lines! Shout out to Zoomers RV of Lamoni IA for troubleshooting.

The joys of a new trailer and a challenged DW..ha!

Suggest you create a Departure checklist. Ours includes checking the stove knobs and Water pump switch. It's posted next to the entry door.

We have a checklist. Added water pump to it. Stovse knobs were while camping. Hence the covers ordered.

Have determined it was the stove and one of the knobs turned just slightly off the off position so we have installed child covers on them.

Dont ever want that to happen again.Click image for larger version

Thanx for coming back and specifying the cause.
It's always a good practice to check the knobs occasionally.
