Propane issue..newbie

Hi guys..just purchased a 2008 Georgetown 373ds privately..whihc is why we are now having issues....didn't test before buying..didn't realise there was so much to test....the propane tank say 2/3 full...we have opened the tank valve..detector flashes green...but no gas appliances work..the unit hasn't been used for a there a propane switch we need to turn other than the detector..? thanks

How fast did you open your valve on your tank? Try closing and opening very very slowly. Sounds like the over pressure valve is popping. I had this happen to me. If it still doesn't work you could have a faulty OP valve.

You probably have air in the lines, turn on the stove and wait until you smell the propane, turn it back off, wait a minute then try to light the burner again, You don't need to do anything the detector. Make sure the propane is turned on at the tank.

The solenoid will open with a 9 volt transistor radio battery. Of course you should first remove the wires.
