propane tanks

I just purchased a used Forest River RV. I had both propane tanks refilled and sprayed some soap suds on the flexible hose connection checking for leaks. The pigtail hose part that screws on to the tank on both tanks had slow leaks. Also the changeover regulator that is between the tanks appears to be broken. I thought about just replacing the flexible pigtail hoses but now i think I need the regulator replaced also. What would anyone recommend for the best setup for this?

I was waiting for a GAS expert to chime in
but
they have not gotten here yet I see

not sure how you have two leaks
plus possible bad regulator
but
we are playing with GAS here
should be ((never too safe))

Home Depot I think carrys what you need at a fair price
your local RV supply store will have all - at a higher price

no reason to take any chances
these monies will all be well spent

my friend just bought an old travel trailer
he lives in it just down the dirt road a ways
he still has not gotten his LP Gas hooked up
he has shared with me a few times
about a friend of his in LA
that was trapped in a burning trailer
the man did make it out
but
it is very hard
for people to look at him today

((NOTHING HURTS LIKE A BURN))

Greetings!
I am not an "LP man" but here's my thoughts....

Go to the Amazon link that Mountainman gives below.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...d_i=B000BQMMXG

$28 is a pretty good price for a new switchover regulator.
Look down the page and see
"Customers Who Bought This Item Also Bought"
they show links to 12 and 30 inch pig tails.
You also might need the hose that goes from the regulator to the
trailer it self.

Why do you think your regulator is bad?
