Refrigerator/Fridge

Just watching a pre trip session Coachnet RV repairs I guess. Do most of you travel with your propane and refidge off. How do you keep your freezer stuff. I always travel with my refridge on am I wrong?

Travel with propane on and fridge set for propane.
Been doing it for 20+ years and the majority of RVers do the same.

This is one of those 'can of worms' threads that has been discussed to death.

You have those that believe you'll blow up and take out everyone around if you run with your propane and refrigerator on and those who do so with no qualms whatsoever.

I'm of the latter for the better part of 40+ years.

the only time I turn my propane off is just before I get to tunnel inspection stations. A few tunnels under the bigger bays do spot checks to see if RV's have their propane turned off as the law requires before going through the tunnels. My refrigerator is running on propane any time I am not hooked up to shore power. I don't even have to do anything to switch over. When I unhook shore power, the refrigerator switches to LP and I am on the road.
