you could get one of these qcc fittings. they have a 1/4" male npt thread. then maybe get a hose made or find one with 1/4" npt male on one end and 1/4" npt female on the other. i dont know of any already made. make sure the rubber is lp gas compatible. the reg will take the 1/4" npt male end. let us know how it works out...

Curious. What's the benefit of braided SS in a RV application over an off the shelf rubber replacement?

probably just appearance. op might be frustrated with the life of these hoses. I know i am. i carried the hose with the solid copper crimp band in the store for a while but these were the worst. now i sell the other style with the thin brass crimp because they hold up better.

Bling is cool but how does the steel braiding influence the life of a LP hose? Noticed Amazon carries an assortment of these braided LP hoses and they look pretty cool but, again, what's the benefit?

Maybe to stop the rodents and squirrels from eating the hose. I recently had to replace the line on my webber at home after the chipmunks ate into it. They recommended the braided hose for this problem.

The only ss braided hose I am aware of is the Parker hose it has a stainless steel internal braid over a rubber inner tube covered by a rubber and fabric outer cover. its available in
3/16", 5/16", 13/32" and 1/2" id commonly used on LP gas motor fuel (forklift and auto gas) applications. You have to field install the 2 piece reusable couplings and to my best knowledge they don't make a 1/4" inverted flare fitting for the regulator end so you would have to adapt. Very abrasion resistant but a determined critter can chew it given time.

I have been down this road before. I believe the best place to go is a full service PROPANE STORE that sells and services propane hook ups which is NOT necessarily an RV Store. They will have the right stuff for EXACT replacement and a safe replacement. If you use the wrong hoses you potentially will have a BOMB that may go off someday.... Just saying.....
