the search for the elusive propane hose!

im having trouble finding a propane hose that will connect from a tabletop bbq to the quick connect on our TT. the new bbq has got the regulator on it. i want to eliminate those 1 pound propane tanks. one would think this kind of hose could be found at the local cornerstore but no, not wal-mart, hardware store, rv dealers etc have these, they all know what i want and got every other hose one could think of but go into babble mode when trying to figure out what to do!!! are these hoses available pre made somewhere or do you have to cobble some fittings together? a 10 foot hose would be ideal!!

I found the hose and quick disconnects under the Mr Heater brand at Northern.

Try Camp Chef. They have a RV Connection Hose. Mine plugs right in to the fitting on our trailer.

I went on line at Weber and bought a hose that attaches to a regular propane bottle and to my little Weber Q. Look at Camping World online as well. I am sure you can buy what you want but not a Lowes or Home Depot.

I got one of these two weeks ago via a suggestion from this forum and it works perfectly.

The one Herk showed would not go into the quick connect completely.

They are a little spendy, luckily my son carries Camp Chef products in his shop. Saved me a bunch from paying full price. I have the Pro 90 3 Burner Propane Stove that I use the hose on. I love that stove! It folds down to make it quite compact, comes with a huge heavy duty suit case type bag to pack it around in. Very nice..

You may want to see if this site can help you. I had a grill I liked and they where able to provide me with a pigtail for my grill and a 12ft extension hose that would match up with my 5th wheel quick disconnect. Here is a link to the site. I called them and they where very helpful.

Good Luck,
