Unhappy Thermostat / Heater do not work

We recently purchased a 2016 Forest River Sanibel, took delivery 2 weeks ago.. Unit has a Dometic thermostat / Atwood furnace. Issue: We can set the thermostat to any temperature and the furnace will not start.

We have tried: re-initialized the thermostat, switched zones, fan modes etc. to no avail. I also checked the Propane tanks, the regulator.

Finally I removed the access door to the furnace and found the reset switch. After pushing the reset the furnace lights, and pushes warm air for about 5 minutes and shuts off. The factory default for the furnace is 65 degree, which it reaches then shuts off - working as designed.

Problem is - the only way to start the furnace is to push the reset switch each time we need heat. Which when the Colorado nights are around 35 degrees, occurs a few times each hour.. Any ideas what could be the problem? running out of ideas to try..

Short wires for heating at furnace, see if it stays on longer. That would eliminate thermostat, and wiring

I'm going to watch this thread since mine has done the exact same thing since day one, in spite of a dealer saying he fixed it.

I use the gas furnace to take the chill off after setting up and then use electric the rest of the time. Saves on propane anyway.

There has been one or two furnaces with the exhaust flue hole not cut through the outside wall. Does yours have hot air exiting the flue? Also, some have had crimped or hot air vents not connected making a high temp situation at the furnace. Are all of your ducts connected properly at the furnace?
