Two propane tanks, where to connect Extend-a-Stay ?

My 5th wheel has a propane tank on each side, connected to a single regulator with a switching valve. Where would i install the Extend-a-Stay to use for outside grill?

I am not familiar with the term "extend a stay" in regards to propane. I have seen and owned several units with a quick connect port to plug in a grill off the rv's propane system. (I assume that is what you are referring to) My currant unit does not have one. I use 1 pound cylinders for my grill. I don't think it would be an easy task to safely add one if your unit does not have it.

I take it you have mounted tanks that don't come off your unit or you want to install the Extend A Stay with a grill by pass. If so, it would go just after the tank shut off and before the unit regulator/tank switch control. That is where mine is on a Class C, but should work for a non removable tank. Hope this helps.

Hook it directly to either tank and then run the existing hose to the regulator. You are trying to avoid the regulator with the extend a stay.

Yes, I've mounted our Extend A Stay as A 32 Deuce explains on both our Rockwood travel trailer and Cedar Creek 5er. Never been a problem.

We run both an outdoor grill and a three burner Cast Iron tabletop stove. Both can run simultaneously.

My camper came with one quick connect that was inline after the regulator. In other words it was already reduced pressure propane at the disconnect.

I re-positioned the original quick connect from directly below the RH propane tank to the rear near the entrance steps. I also added a second quick connect beside it.

Each appliance came with its own regulator. They were designed to connect directly to a propane bottle. I removed the hoses from each appliance and replaced them with hoses with no regulator.

Now I only have to plug in the hose for each appliance and I have a large supply of propane for either or both, No worries about small disposable bottles or 5 gallon tanks clattering around in the storage area.
