Which hose do I need to order?

Updating all of the old LP hoses and the regulators on my old 2003 Roo. I know I want the Marshall Excelsior MEGR-253 Two Stage Automatic Changeover Regulator... but what hose connects it to the camper? Does it have a specific name? About 18 or 20" long? Fittings seem to be an 11/16" connection below regulator and 7/8" fitting at the camper connection.

I cant tell from the picture but most of the change over regs are 1/2" fnpt (female national pipe taper) and the other end should be 1/2" flare. If you can get a better picture of the ends I will try to help id them.

Wrong MANY times....I would have guessed 3/8 MPT X 3/8" SAE(45 deg) male flare on the fitting, 3/8" FPT on the regulator.

The other question I have is: WHY are the fittings so hard to loosen? When I try to loosen one the landings mush and it stays frozen in place. What tools do I need to undo them with out wrecking the fitting? ALSO: Is the fitting size determined by the size of the wrench used to remove it or the size of the orifice?

These two pix show the ends of the propane supply hose running from the bottom of the two tank regulator the camper frame where it joins the copper line.

I think an 11/16 wrench fit the landings on the camper end and a 7/16 fit the regulator end. The length seems to be a little over 18"?

This is the original hose that came on the camper from 2002. With the high altitude trips we have planned I want to go ahead and replace the regulator and the supply hose. I already have new pigtail hoses for the tanks to install when I do the others.

What do you think I need? Also, how to remove the old one safely with out damaging something?

Looks like 3/8 female flare on the trailer end and 3/8" mnpt on the regulator end.
I would spray with PB Blaster or similar then try.
A LP gas dealer like Amerigas, Suburban , Ferrellgas etc could order this for you or you might find at a good camping store or on line. One option would be to get a hose with 3/8" female on both ends then use a flare to pipe adaptor into the regulator. I sell these parts but my company does not sell retail.
Good Luck

Thanks for your reply. You confirmed what I just figured out. I did manage to loosen the female flare and am searching for the replacement for this hose and the old Marshal 250 regulator. Looks like the 253 model supercedes it.
