Woke up sweating

At our camp this weekend and the temps have been 40. About 4:00am I woke in a sweat. It was 85 degrees in the camper. The thermostat was set at 74 because tw is cold.

I have a 2013 Rockwood Signature Ultra Lite 8329ss. The thermostat is a Coleman Mach.

My question is should I be looking for a new thermostat?

If you look at your current thermostat and nothing is bent, broke, or disfigured, and can be easily fixed, a new one is certainly the cheapest way to go. Changing it will be a 15-20 minute job, just mark down where each color of wire corrects.

I would replace it with one from Home Depot or Lowes.

Nothing fancy just something to control the heat an cooling.

For example.
