Home Depot no longer carries the camco 1500 watt 120v element.
They have others but they are long.
Update- Sept 28, 2022
Found this at Lowes.com
Utilitech Water Heater Screw Element
Item # 146227
Model # 9008069046
$13.98 in stock at MY local Lowes store.
The photo appears to be the short version which should fit an RV water heater
very nicely.

Remember- you want a
1500 Watt 120 volt -short- screw in element.
Good Luck!
You'll also need a special deep socket to fit.
Just search Home Deopt or Lowes for water heater element socket.
These are typically around $7.
Note: a typical mechanic's auto repair socket will NOT fit because the socket
wall is too thick to fit into the opening.
They do have a 2000 watt 120v heater but it would draw about 16.6 amps.
That would clearly trip a 15 amp breaker.
The 1500 watt 120v heater should draw about 12.5 amps which will work
very nicely.
FYI I removed the cover and visually checked the fusable link on the
T-stat/hi limit switch. It is good
Last time about 3 years ago, when heater blew for unknown reason
(maybe close lightning strike) it took out the heater AND the fusable
link on the t-stat/hi limit switch.
Here's a YouTube video how to change the element.
