07 surveyour 291

I have a 2007 surveyour 291 and i have a leak around the vent fan in the bathroom.. looks like it is coming around the trim. guessing the caulk finally let go.. is this hard to fix. Anyone done this and any advise on doing it? thanks

We have the same camper. We have the Maxair vent covers so we really haven't had problems there. I did everything on the roof with eternabond a few years ago and so far so good. I did notice the same leak at the slide out that others here have talked about. Maybe you can fix with eternabond and skip the caulk? It's not difficult, just time consuming getting everything clean.

cleaning

what did u use to clean did u eternabond all of the caulk areas.. i am seeing cracks in all the caulk. was planning on recaulking all of the seams this spring. Not sure what else to do what is etrnabond? i am new to the rv world.. always tented.

I used a roof cleaner from camping world. Some folks have mentioned they cleaned the areas with thinner, but I didn't do that. I did have a bit of lift on the leading edge, so I used some dicor to keep it down. Search Amazon and you'll find it.
