You can either lay down a bed of self-leveling Dicor or use some Eternabond tape.

I'd measure how wide you'd need. By the look of it 6" should be good but I can't see everything in your photo.

I just installed Eternabond this weekend on my camper. Simple to install and I understand it'll last as long as the roof does.

Eternabond until it's time to replace the roof.

I agree. Prep with Eternabond Cleaner, then spray on some Eternabond Primer.

A nice wide application of Eternabond Tape that will completely cover all the damage will make a lifetime permanent repair.

Careful with the EternaClean.

First ingredient is Acetone. Not compatible with plastic.. learned that the hard way.

If you want to clean the roof prior (and I would recommend that) just use Acetone. Be careful not to get it on plastic though.

and use Nitril gloves when you do. You DO NOT want that on your skin

After you apply the Eternabond, roll it out with a roller, pressing firmly. You do not need the expensive roller they sell. A $2 wallpaper seam roller from Lowes will work fine. You could even borrow a rolling pin from DW if you think she won't get too angry.
