2001 cherokee leaking roof

Hey everyone, I'm new here and to the RV ownership roll. Just purchased a 2001 cherokee that has a leaking roof near the front half of the trailer. Can someone tell me exactly what kind of roof and or roof construction I am dealing with? I will be doing all the repairs myself and have done some research but I feel I need to know the exacts. I know I have to check for wood rot and replace as necessary, just don't know if it has a metal roof or plywood with a rubber coating or what. thanks in advance for any input. look forward to learning alot on this site.

roof update

Well, it has a particle board roof and particle board truss system, with a tpo covering. All of which are gone now, replaced with plywood and 2x6's cut down to size. New covering will be a vangaurd 2 part rubber roof. The second stage is drying now. By the way, could anyone tell me if the A/C is 110 or 220? Just wondering, haven't made it that far yet, its still on the ground next to the camper. Thanks in advance.

Wow it sounds like you have done quite a bit of work already! Can you post some pictures? I'd be interested in seeing how it all goes together.

the second part answer is 110V on the air conditioner.
i don't believe 220v appliances have made it into the rv industry yet. if u have 50amp service, it is there but, like ur home, it is split up into 2 individual circuits.
