2013 Cedar Creek 36RE Entry Steps

Does anyone know if the entry steps on a CC 36RE can be changed out? The rig currently has three steps, which can make for a big first step for my height-challenged DW with an iffy back. We would like to have 4 steps there. Has anybody done this? Is it a job I can do or is it better left to the pros?

Thanks,
Mike

I checked on the Lippert Components site as they're most likely the manufacturer of your steps. Looks like the choices are one, two or three steps...that's it, that's all. There are lots of portable single steps available asftermarket, some height adjustable that could be used in front of the camper's steps that should solve your problem.

As stated there are platform steps that help but you can swap out your current steps with a four step if you want. Just do a google search on rv 4 step stairs and you will get some websites. here is one Camper Folding Steps on Sale - PPL Motor Homes

We had our steps changed to the four step. Our dealer ordered them from this company Elkhart Tool and Die : Elkhart Indiana - RV Steps and Accessories. They took the old off and the new fit right in

I do not have our trailer yet but my dealer said that they come with 4 steps now, and all the trailers he had with him at the show had 4 steps. So I think it would be easy to change.

I recommended that Sabre should to the same! I'm going to have a good bit on money tied up into my 2 sets of steps switching them to the QuardaSteps.

I went to our dealer today and he is going to order the four step for us. Not as expensive as I thought it was going to be. He will install it free if I give him the old three step. That works for me.

Thanks for all the responses.
