2015 Grey wolf cap seals

Im looking over the seals in my now 7 month old trailer. The front and rear caps have a lot of black butyl rubber squeezing out of the joints. This has broken the sealant the factory used on the corners.

Any Ideas on how to deal with this?

I'm struggling with the corners on my 2009 grey wolf. If yours are like mine they are only about an inch coverage. The corners are barely wide enough to cover the tin in my case. I have had to deal with leaks as a result. I have been told they make a wider corner but I have had no luck locating any.
