2015 Sunseeker 2300 Vent Lid

We need to replace the lid of the vent over the bed. Anyone know which replacement we should buy? Or maybe even know what it is that we are replacing?

Most vent lids are universal 14X14 white, clear, smoke. You might consider putting something like a Maxi vent cover over the vent keeps out rain and allow vent to stay open when traveling and saves the vent lid from the sun.

Take a photo of it from the inside and on top of the RV and take it to your local RV parts store...

Also, there should be a tag or label on it that you should be able to see from the inside.

They'll get you the right one.

There are several different kinds out there, and even though many say they are universal...they are not!

I found this out the hard way.

Easiest thing to do is to take the old one off, take it with you to the RV parts store. There are several different hinge types as John said. They are fairly easy to remove/replace.

Yep, remove what you have and take it with you.

Forest River furnished a lid for my Roo based on my VIN. They are normally very good at this but it wasn't even close! Walked in to a local RV dealer and they had the right lid on a peg right where I walked in. All I had was the hinge as the entire lid had turned to granola and crumbled. MaxAir (sic?) cover kept the rain out so I never noticed this probably for several months.

I purchased this one off Amazon and installed it. Install was pretty easy and took about 20 minutes.

The guys are right on,,, take old lid with you,,, it took me 3 trips,,, and I thought I knew which one I needed !!! Lucky RV dealer is very close,,, and they let me take one home to try !!! Dealer was sure he knew which one I needed,,, he did not !!! I did put 2 or 3 layers of Fusion white paint on mine before I replaced it,,, ours was bath fan vent cover !!!
Old one was 3 maybe 4 years old,,, it was the thickness of paper,,,
cooked by the sun !!!

Yes, we have a 2013 SunSeeker 2300. I also replaced the fridge vent at the same time. I purchased that off Amazon as well. We are currently in Mississippi and have traveled over 25,000 miles in our little big unit.
