Cool 2304KS Rockwood Mini Lite Cracked front panel

Wondering if anyone might know what material the front panel on a 2304KS Rockwood Mini Lite is made of, fiberglass?

I had a minor collision with a tree branch, took out the marker light on the front left top of unit and cracked the panel behind the light. Material looks like fiberglass gel-coat over some kind of fiber board from what I can see.

Was thinking I could it to rough up a bit and glass over it, opinions?

looks like a fiberglass repair site to me...

maybe super glue the ends of the cracks also, then a thin sheet of woven f-glass applied, marking where the previous light holes are... maybe think about a very small amount of Gorilla glue into those holes so light housing screws have something to dig into... (makes a hard expanded foamy substance when hard)

I bought an exact replacement side marker light on some website... someone pointed me to it... maybe can do it again as I don't recall.

hopefully not too bad to repair and probably only you will know it is patched there...

good luck

Rough it up and glass over it. Get a color match and see if a car repair shop will be able to mix a gloss for you. Before you do any repair, check inside for any structural damage to support system.
