Air conditioner roof caulking.

2017 Micro lite 2502ks. Took the cover off today and checked the caulking and seals on the roof. The air conditioner has what appears to be a high density foam ring between th the unit and the roof. There is no caulking or other visible sealant.

Is this normal or do I need additional sealant of some sort ?

The foam is the roof gasket. As long as it is not dripping on the inside, you are good.

Thanks for confirming what I suspected. Wasn't sure and didn't want to risk a leaking roof.
