I found condensation on my bathroom vent, just one side about 2" diameter. It wasn't too bad but did cause a slow drip. I called the shop and they told me there is no actual duct work for the AC. The styrofoam insulation is in sections and it has pre-cut groves for the duct works. I removed the inside trim and two sections of the styrofoam met at the point where I found the condensation. I could feel cold air from the AC blowing through.

yep, that looks like it would work well. the aluminum will block the infared in the summer and it seales...kinka like insulation over an a/c duct. interupt the circulation of warm moist air, and it should stop raining.

I had condensation on the inside of the vent cover over the bed at night last winter 35 outside 60 inside. I opened the vent a little and turned on the fantastic fan in the bathroom to low, no more condensation.

Water Damage to RV interior
When I discovered condensation in my shower skylight thats what the dealer tried to tell me also. No worries thats normal! Yea right. So after my RV set at the dealer for 90 days they finally had it picked up by the manafacture in Indiana. Well they had to replace both sides and the top on my RV due to severe water damage. The interior was ruined. This was a brand new RV I purchased in May 2009 and had only been camping in it twice. The dealer told me they had 3 other RV's that also had to go back due to water damage. Well I just got my RV back in August and it looked great! Well the manafacture just picked it up this Tuesday and hauled it back out to Indiana because there was water in the underbelly storage unit again! This is so depressing.

that's a little bit different ball game. there shouldn't be a flow of warm moist air in that area (between the roof skylight and the ceiling skylight). there are two skylights there. when i found water drops in my tub, i went on top and resealed the skylight around the roof. a couple months later, when it leaked again, i found a small crack in the outside shower skylight moving from edge to center (abt 2"long). i sealed that and haven't had any problems sense. this winter i am going to go back up and drill a small hole at the end of the crack to stop the spread and seal it again.

I would also put that shrink-wrap plastic over/on the vent frame, like the stuff they make for the inside of house windows. Otherwise the moisture will just go through the 'pillow' and freeze/accumulate on the vent top. And it will ACCUMULATE, until a warmer day when it will all melt and come down at once!

My ceiling is Bubbling up with water in it... I called my RV Tech guy and he said to keep the AC off until I can replace the Gaskets in the outside unit on top of Camper.. That this is causing my damage... UG!
