Best vent cover?

We recently purchased a Flagstaff Micro-Lite and only one of the two vents has a cover.

We had the MaxAir I on on our old trailer, and it worked well, except you have to remove it to clean inside. I see the MaxAir II now flips up for cleaning, but it seems much bigger. Campco has a vent cover that has a grill that pops out, but reviews I've read say that the Campco tends to crack after just a few years of use. What vent cover do y'all recommend for a standard vent with no fan?

Care to elaborate? I read that the MaxAir II is much larger than the I. How does it attach to a standard vent?

I clean my MaxAir in the bathroom by:
Thin tools with stuff I spray and wipe from inside the bath fan. PITA, but it works.
A good couple of beers helps the motivation.
Helps to be ALONE. Prevents cussing backflow from DW ... [emoji23]

max-air II

I just installed a max air II. It took longer to set up and get tools . then to install max air. Love mine leave it open all the time. Turn on bathroom fan. Draws cool air in over bed , then out thru bathroom.

roof vent question

We have a SunSeeker and we purchased 2 maxi vents The OD size fits fine but if I install them I will not be able to open the roof vents on the RV in the full open position as the Maxx air vent is not tall enough
So I need to ask 2 questions
Does not opening the vents have a impact on venting
Is there a vent that allows clearance to open all the way
Thanks for your help
Steve

Is it all that important to open the vents all the

Mine is the same as it doesn't open all the way. I haven't noticed any difference . still get good air flow after installed max air cover

Yeah, I discovered that too, but I figured some ventilation is better than having rain come through your uncovered vent.

Yep, first thing I did when we got our Sunseeker was to install 3 Maxxair II's. Love 'em!
