Best wax for TT?

I know its one of those never-ending debates, but I gotta ask for the new year. What is everyone using in terms of wax for their fiberglass trailers?

I have read good things about some of the marine waxes, but wanted to ask the pros (and Joes) in here. Do you apply over the decals or try to avoid 'em? Any disaster stories and/or products to avoid?

Nufinish lasts a long time. Been using on cars, boats and trailers as long as I can remember .Decals and all.

I use Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. I use it on my auto's and camper. It works great on fiberglass.

I used Eagle one nano wax it is a spray on It was very easily applied and leaves no white residue and safe for vinyl decals

I use Turtle Wax Ice. Put it on right over the decals and all. Easy to apply, no buffing, lasts a long time. I don't actually know how long it lasts because I wax about twice a year and it's still good from the last time.

I used Protect-All on my aluminum skinned Trailmanor. Still got plenty of it left over, so should that be a problem on the my fiberglass Surveyor??

For the first wax of the year I use a mother's 3 stage (3 seperate bottles, that can be purchased at any Wal mart or auto store). For a quikie I use Meguires NXT 2.0. A little pricey but it works AWESOME!!

wax is wax is wax is wax, just as long as you use it

I use the liquid kind because it's easier to apply and remove

I think I remember reading that you have to watch what type wax used. Some waxes are not good for the type of clear coat / gel coat that is on trailers. It is best to use a marine wax since it formulated to handle gel coat. Some regular car waxes could strip the gel coat a little at a time.

My vote is for NuFinish. It offers superior protection and durability and IS NOT a wax. Waxes to differ and care must be taken when choosing one. In any case, be sure that is you choose to use a wax that the compound does contains caruba wax.

I've used Zaino Show Car Polish Products on my trailer.

After a good washing with a strong dish washing liquid, to remove all dirt and debris, apply Zaino Z-AIO ALL-IN-ONE , then apply Z-5 PRO Show Car Polish .

It'll take the better part of a day, but well worth it. It's very long lasting and twice a year does it.

My Brother-In- Law just gave me some stuff that he uses on his Corvette, it is called ADAM'S Buttery Wax. It says on the back of the bottle that it is 100 % guaranteed to give the highest gloss and the easiest to use for hand waxing......adamspolishes.com I will have to try it.

I use Zaino on my truck because it is a polish and not a wax. It is very expensive about $100.00 a kit but last almost a year as far as shine. I just wonder how it would work on a Filon exerior and the decals that Forest
River uses?

Ive been using turtle wax ice on my truck and on the trailer and it seems to do a good job. I know this though, 33 feet doesnt seem that long until you start rubbing every inch of it by hand. OMG, thank goodness thats only a once a year project!!!!
Someone recommended to me a product called perma-shield and they swore by it how good it works. It can only be ordered online at permashield.com and its a little pricey,about 50 dollars for the wash and wax system. I might give it a try next season just to see.
