Bubble skylight condensation.

I have a 2018 E-pro 19fd with bubble style skylight over the bathtub. I'm getting condensation in between the inner glass and the outside bubble that has no place to drain. Anyone seen this or have a fix for this? Thanks.

I saw it on my last camper. Ended up being a roof leak. Was a mess for me.

Does it show after showers or when sitting?

I think some condensation is normal if it's cold outside and warm inside (or vice-versa). Mine does it when we are using the shower.

If it's not being used and collecting water you have a problem and inspecting the Dicor around the outside would be your first step.

Run a bead of silicone bathtub caulk around that outer bezel against ceiling. Take bezel down and dry/clean both surfaces 1st.

Here is what I did to my dome immediately when I got my new rig home.

Used Eternabond cleaner and taped, Dicor lap sealed and Trempro 645 on the vertical spots.

Not the prettiest site but functionally is should help in the long run. Still will require PM and up keep.

Thanks for the feedback and ideas. I don't think it's a leak because it forms at the top of the bubble and runs down. It happened all winter while I was living in the unit here in SC. There's very little insulation in these units, so there's a big temp differential in winter. I think I'm going to take out the inside shield, run eternabond tape around the inside of the opening, replace the inside then run the bead of silicone around the lip after I put it back. This should help make it more airtight and hopefully reduce the problem. Thanks again!
