CHAIRS on roof of 29re

tech support sad that roof is plenty strong for sitting on roof. Please provide ideas on placing chairs on roof is there a railing made for that?

WHAT tech support are you talking about?
I don't know of any FR employee that would say such a thing.
I would never put chairs on a conventional RV roof unless it had a deck on top.

Sure, you can walk and sit on lots of RV roofs (maybe not all of them). However, the concentrated load from the chair legs is a different story for the structure and the membrane. I would never put a chair up there. I also wouldn't sit up there, even without a chair, unless I'm doing maintenance.

Not to mention that any railing, that would be high enough for safety, would cause major issues with bridges, power lines, etc. At least in the North Eastern USA region.
