All four of our oem tires had cracked sidewalks this year. Tire is dated 2013, bought rockwood in 2015 (2014 model year). Cannot believe what garbage they are. I have other utility trailers that get more use and have older tires in better shape than these! I ordered new tires in and the day I went to take the oem ones off one was leaking air out the sidewall. These tires are covered when not in use so it was not the sun. I went from a range "c" to range "e" Carlisle HD tire.
Sure am hoping to get more life out of these. Heavier tire for sure, look forward to see how it will tow down the road. I am hoping for less rolling resistance.
Had the same issue with our 2015 Salem's tires. Went for inspection this year and they were all cracked on the side walls. Went with the class "e" Carlisle HD's as well
