Clean and treat roof membrane

After checking prices on roof cleaner and additional conditioner at around a hundred bucks with shipping, thought I'd check to see if anyone has any recomendations on products or possible home recipes to clean and condition my roof on 2008 Wildwood TT.

Thanks

I don't treat mine. I use a little Spic & Span with plenty of water and a long handled, soft bristle brush done several times a year.

I've used general cleaning products to clean a couple of times a year but never treated with a protectant.
These roof membranes are supposedly gauranteed for ten years but I've got a feeling that if they can get out of covering it under warantee because in their opinion you didn't care for it properly, they wont replace it.

I use Murphy's Oil Soap. It was recommended in the MFG's information that came with the TT. Seems to work fine. Have not conditioned it yet, but the dealer sells a gallon jug for about 30 bucks and says it will do two conditioning.

Will Dawn dish soap work on the black streaks on the sides?

Not really, but washing the roof more often will reduce the black streaks from occuring.

Might try a bleach/water mixture for the black streaks. I know clorox clean up will get them off and Walmart has a cheap generic version.

I use a black streak remover from a local RV dealer, along with Mr. Clean Heavy Duty Magic Erasure. Many on the forum use Awesome from the local dollar store with good results.

I use Nu Finish for my sun faded front, and Protect All for the rest of it.
