Cleaning & protecting exterior window trim

Probably not the first time for this question, but I'm not finding anything in the archives: What is a good cleaner/protectant for the black rubber trim around windows on the exterior? I wanted something to not only clean, but also to leave some UV protection on the surface at the same time. I was treating my slide gaskets with Protectall slide gasket spray-on, which I was applying with a sponge, so I tried it around a window. I wasn't very satisfied with the result as it dried 'streaky', so I switched to good old Armorall protectant. Just curious if anyone has found a product that works any better for cleaning/protecting?
