What do you guys use to clean the exterior of your TT. Want to keep mine nice and tight for the road trips. Can't stand a dirty vehicle , or TT

I use regular car wash soap on the sides and laundry soap on the rubber roof, yes regular liquid laundry soap! I was advised to do this by the dealer as it will not harm the rubber.

The best product I found for the sides of the RV was Gel Gloss, great at keeping black streaks off, makes it easy to clean off black streaks & bugs, only problem I found is that it dulls the decals, so I use use it sparingly on those. I do it once a year & touch up spots during the year, it is usually found in the cleaning section but could be in the bathroom section as well, great for counter tops & the wife loves it for the stainless steel appliances.

The guy who did our walk-thru advised liquid laundry soap as well, and strongly advised against anything fruit scented.
He said crows are attracted to it and will peck at the roofing.

Any laundry or dish soap will actually strip the wax off your rv walls- if that's your intention before applying a new finish then okay- but otherwise stay with cleaners that protect the existing wax/finish.

I just bought my 318BHS TE a few weeks ago. Looks like I have the same setup as you. As I have just taken my rig out for the second time since purchase, I was thinking it was time to give it a wash.
Like the brush in your pic. Where did you get your brush (looks like a hose attaches to handle) and exactly what Maguire's products do you use?
Also RUBBER SEALS - anybody condition these or are y'all just cleaning them?
Thanks guys for any help for a first timer.

yeah, the brush i like a lot....its a collapsable/expandable brush that attaches to the hose and has an valve in the handle so you can turn water on and off....its perfect IMHO for washing this big ol thing....
i got the brush from walmart....in the camping/rv section....but ive seen several diff ones since then at auto parts stores and such....i think it was like 19$
as for the wash i dont remember exactly which meguires it was.....i think i said orange liquid before, but im pretty sure now it was a yellowish liquid....its from walmart as well....its a wash and polymer wax all in one .... little more $$$ but the shine is considerably better than anything else i have tried before..and the bugs seem to come off the front cap a lot easier with this one too...
as for the rubber, yes i do put a little rubber care on them.....i dont know who makes it, but ill look .....the seals arent exposed usually so deteroration from oxidation/sun im not so concerned...i just like to keep em soft and pretty lookin.......
and again i use liquid dish soap on the rubber roof.....looks like it works just fine to me..mine just gets dirty......ive never had black streaks or anthhing to deal with...(yet)? but mine stays enclosed when not in use....

Washed mine today. Tried what a old timer told me to remove black streaks, Scrubbing Bubbles! The bathroom cleaner, worked great! Presprayed the streaks before washing that section, they came off easy peasy. Was using the wash and wax in the bucket.

The best product I've used to clean my camper is called Awesome! Its only one dollar in a spray bottle and it works great on black streaks and cleaning the awning, I also use Protec All to wax , I like it because it can be used on anything including decals, so far after 3 yrs out in the open my camper still looks like new..

Should I use a different wax for the sides of the 5th wheel than the ends? Front and back are gel-coated.
