Cleaning the roof - Hot, Warm, Cold water

I'm going to see if I can get out there and clean this roof before the trip to the coast to bake in the sun. I have it parked in between a few large trees and there is the normal crud that has been deposited, some bird poop, etc. and I don't want to have that on there when I get it parked for about 3 months in that hot sun.

I was wondering about using super warm (not steaming hot) water to clean it to make the job a little easier. My hot water heater is in my garage and I can hook into it. 5 gal bucket and some cold mixed in.

I was thinking that this wouldn't hurt anything because the roof gets blasted in the hot sun. But I wanted to ask here first just in case I should definitely avoid anything but cold water from the hose.

Hot, warm, or cold?

I hose off first, then use a mixture of 1/4 cup bleach, 1/4 murphy oil and hot water in 3 gallon pail and use car wash brush. Let sit five minutes, scrub again and then hose off. It works for me.
