What do you use to clean the vinyl roof on your camper?

I'm more familiar with EPDM rubber, but according to Alpha's website (FR uses Alpha's rubber roofs, so maybe it also uses it's TPO vinyl stuff too)
Cleaning and Maintaining the Royal Tuff-Ply Roof

Proper care, cleaning and maintenance of TPO roofing is quite simple due to the basic properties and longevity of the material. Periodic cleaning is the primary maintenance needed. Alpha Systems recommends using Murphy's Oil Soap® with a soft nylon brush or sponge to clean Tuff-Ply.

DO NOT USE SOLID OR GRANULATED CLEANERS, as they will mar the natural finish.

DO NOT USE ARMOR-ALL® OR OTHER OIL OR SOLVENT-BASED CLEANERS, as they will leave a slick surface and possibly damage the membrane.

A thorough cleaning with moderate scrubbing action, per the suggestions above, should remove most stains and keep the roof looking good. For removal of more stubborn stains, contact Alpha Systems Customer Service at (574-295-5206).

Annual roof inspection is recommended. Check the membrane for possible damage and check the caulk or lap sealant used in all termination areas and around all accessories and fasteners.

I have used Murphy's Oil Soap on my EPDM roof with good success. There are a couple of hard stains that won't come out, but who sees it but birds and passengers in very low flying airplanes anyway. I suspect the birds are responsible for them anyway.

froglegs,
You 2007 Flagstaff does indeed have a Alpha (TPO) Vinyl roof.

The cleaning and maintaining of the thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) is as welshman599 posted.

Your can visit Alpha Systems Inc. web site HERE .

They must have changed them since 2004 as mine has the EPDM roof along with the instructions on cleaning it with the oil soap.

It wors on rubber too? nice to know. Its fun having guys on their roofs with $60 bucks worth of "rubber roof cleaner" watching me and calculating while I'm doing mine with a sponge mop and a two dollar box of spic & Span.

Yes, they did change to Vinyl on the Rockwood/Flagstaff line. Don't know what year it was changed. I asked the techs at the dealership, but that's like talking to a brick. Dah...

The cleaning instructions came with my Rockwood also.
