Not bad. It helps that you don't have the full paint on the coach.

Just saw your post about the flood in Chehalis Washington 2007, my granddaughters grade school had 3 feet of water running down the halls.

Kids had to spend time in a motel due to evacuation orders, what a bloody mess it was ....

Can not say I blame anyone for the delay.

Good luck with the rest of the repairs.

Update. It's not out of the body shop yet. Apparently, a few more things to do. Anticipated out of body shop this Wednesday, then the RV dealer will do some small repairs I needed. So, I'm anticipating February 2 at this point. (Part of this date estimation is the fact that I have to coordinate renting a U-Haul and stuff to get me up there. I don't tow a car.)

You're right, glad I don't have full body paint. One of my previous Forest River's had full body paint, looked nice, but now I see a good reason not to get that option again.

My RV is back from the body shop. I am having some other things done. I forgot to ask how the crack repair looks.

Depending on how fast they get my other things done, I'll either have it back Friday or Monday. I would prefer Monday.

RV Done! I'm going to pick it up on Friday. I'm so thankful to Forest Rive for paying for this repair (although there were some other "minor" issues I had fixed that I'm paying for.....)

That's great news and an awesome turnaround on the repair.
Hopefully when you get to see it it will look like nothing ever happened.

Got it back! The crack repair looks great! Can't even tell.

I do have some complaints, though.

1. My coach battery was completely dead when I picked it up.
2. I had a full propane tank, it was down 1/8 when I picked it up.
3. My JACK antenna was turned ON, I had turned it off when I left it.

Ok, my theories. I had the RV winterized before the body shop work was done. So, there should not have been any reason to use my propane.

I'm guessing the body shop may have run my furnace, which would explain propane usage and coach battery. It did get a little cold in the area where I left it. There was no need to, I had it winterized, unless they needed to run the furnace for the repair job on the stress crack.

I'm also guessing the body shop may have tried to watch my TV. Which would explain my JACK being turned on, and coach battery down.

I'm not happy about this part........

But the RV dealer let me plug in and charge up my battery before I left.

I had previously posted (#17) that I also had this situation and had seen other RV's with this particular type cracks. Recently I traded my TT for a new one. The dealer asked me about my '05 TT for trade-in info as I didn't have it with me. When I told him about the cracks he stated: "That's nothing, we fix those every day". We did the trade-in based on my info and finished the deal for the new TT. When we went back the next week to pick up the new TT I made a remark to the guy setting my new one up and he told me that they did indeed repair these cracks. He then called someone from the body shop to come over, on a golf cart, and take me for a tour of their body shop. They had a TT with slide, and the slide had the infamous cracks at the bottom corners of the slide opening. They had repaired one of these cracks already and I could hardly tell where they had done the work. The repair was not painted yet so I could find it. I have been around auto fiberglass repair (can you say Corvette?) for years and the TT repair was as good as any I have ever seen. I'm sure there are other dealers out there who can repair these cracks. If I may mention the dealer: Mid-State RV in Byron, Ga.

Well, folks, guess what. After all that fol de rol in January, I ended up with another crack in the same general area. It's not the same crack, it's different, but in the same general area. Here is the thread:
