Danged Weather!

Well, it seems as if winter will just not go away. Here in SE Texas, we had another cold front blow through yesterday (4/8), and wind gusts of nearly 50 mph. And I haven't been able to get a cover over my 5th wheel. And a big branch came down on it. Of course, it had to come down point first. Punched about a 3" hole in the rubber roof, and looks like it went into the wood below. I haven't removed the limb yet until...waiting until the insurance guy gets here. Hopefully the rain will hold off until I can get it in the shop!

Sorry to hear that EdJunior. It was windy here also only a few miles from you in Splendora.

We had ours at the dealer in Hot Springs AR for warranty work this week and we are getting a new roof.

I feel your pain. Even a shed isn't a guarantee. My garage collapsed on the trailer, which would have been unharmed if not for the garage I built to protect it. A month waiting for an estimate, and another two weeks waiting for the insurance company to approve it, and they are finally about to order the parts and roofing material to fix it. I was thinking of trading it in damaged, but I guess I'll get it fixed and use it one more year. Sticker shock set in when I started looking.
