De-lamination Poll Question
The reason I ask you folks to participate is this is most likely the single most depreciative failure your RV could face. If this occurs to your RV is will loose almost all value. This is not covered by your TT insurance and in most cases will/May result in a large financial loss. Now I am at the mercy of one person to decide if my trailer will be repaired. Think about it.
Just state your TT Type (5vr, TT, etc)
Age of TT.
How long you owned it.
Also state this info and note you have no problems *need both sides of this*
Just curious as to if this is an issue that is ocurring occasionally or happens more than we know.

2006 TT Rockwood 8314SS- New Had it 8 days, delamination occuered.
Was in a position to send it back up the RIVER and received another brand new unit.
The replacement from day one has not delamed as of yet and it has been 5 years, but I will not talk about the other problems to date.

Very slight delam about 4 inches wide and about 3 feet long vertically right under the gutter drain. Left front. I am guessing it is from a roof leak that froze. No roof leaks now.
I bought it that way. Got a pretty good deal on the trailer and in the past two winters it has not grown at all. If it ever decided to grow I can fix it properly. If not I will trade it back in to the dealer I bought it from without issue. I have done business with them for years.

Purchased new in May of 2008, noticed several areas of delam in spring of 2010. Contacted factory and made arrangements for repairs after camping season. They were very accommodating and replaced both sidewalls, roof and made several minor repairs that they saw. Very happy with their customer service.

Delam on curb side where the plastic cap meets the fiberglass.
6" wide 4' tall
Out of warranty. I'm pretty much screwed.
I fixed the leak I believe.
Hopefully it does not grow any bigger.

Found a "window" leak week before last. Further investigation found at least 3 spots that are delaminated and top of both slide outs has the sealing tape all wrinkled up.
Its at the dealers since last Monday. Repair appointment on Thursday this week. Hope we get some good news real soon.
A 4 week long trip to start Oct 1.
