My 2006 flagstaff tt started doing it @ 2 years old. The green decals seemed to be shrinking the worst.

Wow, those do look bad. Looks like they put them on upside down too! Sure shouldn't be looking like that after only 2 years! I would contact Forest River. Not sure if they would cover it but you never know until you try.

Totally common today. Find a mobile graphics shop. They can duplicate and install new quality vinyl fairly reasonable. I found a fella through a local RV dealer who did my bad side last year.

will4u, where are you located?
Our Flagstaff camper is also 2 years old, and the decals are as good as the day it was built. Are we just lucky, or do different factories use different quality decals?

Decals on our 2011 Flagstaff fifth wheel are lifting on the cap. Have dealer looking into problem.

Is that the side of the trailer that gets the most sun ??? Mine look similar on the sunny side.

Take a hair dryer and remove them. You would be surprised how easy they come off.

With 30 + days of over 100 degrees last year the decals on side of our camper facing the South & receiving the most sun cracked horrible, the other side almost like new even though our camper is 5-6 years old.

I keep my decals waxed with a good wax like nu-finish and never had any issues. My son new 2012 roo was not so lucky after picking up his trailer from winter storage. Many decals were in need for replacemant. ( can you imagine on a 2012 trailer!!!!)

So far on my decals on the front cap where it gets most of the sun, I have just "washed" the peeling, brittle edges off. Still looks 1/2 was decent like that.

"Flagstaff" came off the front of the trailer the first time I washed it. The way I felt about the trailer at the time, it didn't bother me one bit. Wayne

My front Graphic on my Cardinal has become very faded after 8 years but I found someone who will duplicate it in the color I want and the Cardinal will be 14 inches tall and in a different location. I had thought of taking it all off and putting a UPC bar code on the front but the wife didn't think that was as funny as I did! LoL

Unhappy Decals

The decals on our 5er are lifting on the front cap, where it gets all the sun, rain and bugs when driving. Planning our first major trip of the year starting next week for the month of June returning July 5, so I don't expect to hear anything from dealer before we get back. We are hoping that FR will cover the cost as the dealer knew about the problem last fall.

I remember on the older trailers like the terry taurus I had. The front emblem and graffic on the opening awning for the front window was painted instead of decals.

seatosea, while shopping for our new camper, I saw a Flagstaff like yours on the dealer's lot, and one of the letters had already fallen off.
It now read Fagstaff.
That made me wonder if the factory cleans the cap after installation. Maybe there is some mold release agent or some other contaminant on the surface. The decals should not be falling off a brand new camper.
The decals on on our camper seem of pretty good quality, and I imagine if the surface was prepared properly, they should give years of service.
