Dicor Application

I caulked my seals on the roof in the fall, but had our HTT in for warranty work in December. They told me all the seals were cracked. I haven't been up there yet to check it out, but they wanted A LOT of money to caulk it, and said it would need 12 tubes. I bought some Dicor over the weekend and plan on getting on the roof in a week and a half to see what they were talking about. They also said all my caulk around the windows, etc. were cracked. When we bought it the guy doing the walk through said to apply the Dicor like regular caulk, but the guy in December told me to do a 'loopty loop' type pattern. I just watched a video on youtube and they said to use mineral spirits to clean the Dicor and then just apply to the cracks.

So how do you apply Dicor? Which is correct?

That was perfect! Thank you so much! When I caulked in the fall, I caulked anything I thought had thinned, I didn't have any cracks. So I think they were just looking for easy money.
