Different Leak-At least for us!

Bought my 2012 8315BSS in May of last year. Both fenders were cracked and the folks I bought it from had a new one in bubble wrap. Finally got around to taking off the driver side, threw the piece in the garbage can. Decided to wait until the weekend to put the new one on. Of course garbage day was Friday and once I unwrapped the "new" fender, I quickly determined it was the wrong one. In addition, I've uncovered rotten wood in the upper part of the wheel well. Going from ground up, there is hard thin plastic, a thin fabric something like weed barrier and then what I suspect should be 1/4" lauan however it is just coming out in pieces. I first thought my shower might be leaking since it is right over the area but quickly determined it's dry as a bone by looking through the inspection cover in the showerbase. I'll assume it came from tire spray. Anybody ever repair anything like this?

BTW, inquiry for fenders through Forest River Website went unanswered. Inquiry through my local Rockwood Dealer did not return 2 phone calls and an email. I finally called FR and they are shipping my 2 new fenders. suposed to arrive today. Hope they fit!
