Door assist handle lock

My wife was reading somewhere (Facebook, another RV forum, ??) that people at a campground got locked inside of their RVs by a prankster/thief coming by during the night and swinging the door assist handle in front of the closed RV door. The same way you would position the handle for travel. This caused people to get locked inside of their RV when they went to open the door in the morning. Some got out through the emergency exit window, others called for help and fellow campers came to their rescue and swung the handle away from the door so they could get out.
My question is, has anybody heard of this happening? Is anybody concerned that this might happen to them? What have you done to prevent this from happening?

If you look at the "Cradle Areas" there are 2 different Depths! Storage and Usage! The RV Door "WILL OPEN" in case someone would place it across the Door! Youroo!!
