Dyco C-10 Lap Sealant on Rubber Roof

Last November I developed a roof leak on a one year old Cherokee. I found the lap sealant was not adhered to the rubber in one spot where it meets the rear wall. I could slip a matchbook cover under the sealant edge.

I went to the local hardware store and bought a tube of Dyco C-10 Flow Seal. I cleaned and dried the joint and sealed the leak. Job done, so I thought. Last week I went to an RV store and saw this on the Shelf with a warning not to be used on EPDM roofs. I think EPDM is the rubber roof on most new travel trailers and I am concerned that I have damaged my roof.

Does anybody have a suggestion about what approach I should take to correct this error?
