EPDM vs PVC roof replacement.

I have 2003 Cedar Creek Silverback. The roof is starting to show some black. I have been talking to a local RV shop and he mentioned replacing with a PVC roof. Has anybody had any experiance with PVC roof?

Instead of replacing it just recoat it with epdm coatings.

Ace Hardware has a great coating for these types of roofs. I have used it and it works great. A base coat is rolled on, allowed to dry, and then the sealer coat. Depending upon how many coats you decide to use, it is guaranteed for anywhere from7 to 10 years. The product is called "e-las-tek".

I used it, did a great job and cost a total of about $200.00. I believe It's available at other establishments also. Check Google.

Complete roof replacement figure around between 5 to 6K depending on how big a unit you have.

The labor for putting on the roof is the biggest cost, roof
material in my case it was just under $900 including the
installation kit for my trailer which was 33ft

Then you have all the new hardware like screws, rain
gutter...In my case I only had to replace 2 sheets of plywood and not the complete under roof material .....

EPDM RV Roof replacement would run you about $100.00 a foot including materials and labor new plumbing vents, ac gaskets, new kitchen base and cap, extra would be carpentry for soft spots, usually luan plywood @ $16.00 a sheet..
