Eternabond in lieu of caulk?

I have purchased some Cyclone sewer vents to install. Also purchased enough Eternabond to do the entire roof of my trailer. Intending to have all of my rooftop projects done (hopefully) before the summer heat sets in.

One thing I didn't think to order was Dicor caulk. As many of you know, the Cyclone install requires that you remove the old caulk around the existing vents, then re-caulk the Cyclone vents during the install.

Any thoughts on simply using the Eternabond alone without applying the caulk first? I don't mind placing and waiting for an order of Dicor but wondering if there is any necessity when I'm only going to put Eternabond on top of it.

Thanks for any input.

you could probably get away with only Eternabond...but any thing on the roof, i would make sure its properly sealed. i would get the Dicor ,apply that and when that's cured, put the tape over it.

Thank realebill, that is kind of what I've been thinking also.

If there is anybody with differing experience or thoughts, please let me know.

I am with realebill
do the Dicor Lap Sealent - self leveling (Blue Tube) first

what I think is the Eternabond sealing my roof on my new unit seems it doesnt do as well of a job sealing as the Dicor Lap Sealant does IMO - I was up on my roof this weekend and found some spots that needed some atttention or I was going to be having a leak from one of 4 spots - fixed that with the Dicor.
