Eternabond prevention, Remove Drip Rail before installing?

I have a little 20ft Forest River and no leaks. Want to keep it that way. I am going to put Eternabond on the side of the roof where it bends over the side. Question, should I remove drip rail and put Eternabond under it or butt the Eternabond right up next to the drip rail. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I used Eternabond on my Trailmanor and it worked great. I am paranoid about leaks and have seen trailers destroyed with water damage. Thanks in advance.

I understand what you are saying, but that would stick your gutter out farther. Can you just bring it down just inside the gutter? I think that would be better protection IMO. Then you know that it will not leak in between.

I have been thinking about doing this also. Like it was mentioned above...I was thinking of bringing the eternabond down over the edge of the drip rail.

Totally agree with Glenn. "If it ain't broke/leaking don't fix it." That is, if you are not having/suspecting leaks around that molding, DO NOT pull the screws out and/or break that seal. Run the e'bond to the top edge.
