Eternabond prevention, Remove Drip Rail before installing?
I have a little 20ft Forest River and no leaks. Want to keep it that way. I am going to put Eternabond on the side of the roof where it bends over the side. Question, should I remove drip rail and put Eternabond under it or butt the Eternabond right up next to the drip rail. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I used Eternabond on my Trailmanor and it worked great. I am paranoid about leaks and have seen trailers destroyed with water damage. Thanks in advance.
We are driving a Dodge Durango and pulling a Evergreen G269FK. We also have two Cairn Terriers. 2 Champion Generators. This year, planning on 6 months in our Evergreen visiting, California, Michigan, and Ohio. We live in Florida. Grandkids, and dogs are why we camp. Also have a Hensley Hitch which that eliminates all sway. Pricey, but worth it.
