Eternabond side seams
I was searching around and trying to avoid putting up a post since there are alot of Eternabond posts but, perhaps my question is one other folks might have too.
I want to use Eternabond to seal the side seams on my TT. I'm just curious on what anyone else has done. I've searched the forum and saw alot of good pictures and really nice work on some applications. I just can't tell from the pictures what some folks did in the situation I am looking for.
I'm planning on using 4" wide tape and going over the side with it. The question is, do I tuck it down just behind the gutter rail touching the top end of the rail or do I unscrew the gutter rail, place the Eternabond behind it and then pull it up and over the corner of where the roof and sidewall meet.
I'm thinking that might be the best way and at the same time, replace the screws and fill the holes with sealant as the screws go in.
However, maybe it's overkill. Does the factory wrap the roof material behind the sidewall or does the sidewall go one first and the roofing material wrapped on top of the sidewall and then the gutter installed.
Sometimes, things done on these can't be overkill but, perhaps someone else has done the same thing and/or maybe has some ideas. It's first on my to do list since the weather is now getting warmer!
