Eternabond vs Dicor Tape

Between Etrnabond and Dicor, which would you choose for "I need to be prepared for unspecified issues."? If both, then which gets used for what?

We carry a roll of clear packing tape because we have found that it holds windshields together. We carry a roll of Gorilla tape because it is stronger and stickier than duct tape.

Reminds me of the old joke ----

Q: What to duct tape and the force have in common?
A: They both have a light side and a dark side and the both hold the universe together.

Thanks for your thoughts

I have used the Eternabond tape and have had zero problems out of it. I cleaned and sealed the front seam on the camper where the metal meets the rubber roof a few years ago and the stuff is holding as tight now as it did when first applied. Just make sure to get a good, airtight seal on a clean surface. I used a small metal roller after it was applied to strengthen the bond and push out any air pockets as I went.

I also used a square of it to repair a small hole in the roof caused by a low hanging tree branch and keep the remainder in the camper for emergency use. I have never used the Dicor brand, but I can say that I am very pleased with the Eternabond.

Personally, I'm going to start carrying a short section of Flex Seal Flex Tape CLEAR. I used some on a gutter leak. Stuff is transparent, rather substantial, and does stick well. So I would be able to put a section over any hole regardless of where it is and it won't look too bad...
With that said, I am planning to start covering all of my roof seals with white Eternabond.
