Exterior Rubber Slide Seals

Considering average use of RV's, ignoring extreme conditions, how long should exterior slide seals last? Has anyone had these seals replaced and how much money did it cost?

Our RV has 3 slides and the bulb of the rubber seal has split on every slide. I applied preservative plus RV is parked under cover when not in use and it still happened.

Don't really know, Mine is going on 3 years without any problems. Where you using the right stuff to spray them? I forgot what it was but they say do not use it if it had a certain chemical in it. Forgot what it was.
