Faded front cap

Has anyone had any problems with their front cap fading horribly? Ours faded after less than s year even though we have waxed the whole camper almost ten times. Does warranty cover this? We have a 2014 Wildcat 327CK

Mine did also (2014 Blue Ridge). Luckily it was discovered while under warranty. Forest River had the dealer sand and repaint with all necessary colors the entire front cap. Reapplied new decals also.

As the cap is the area getting the most abuse, I'm happy now as the dealer did a fantastic job and I have a thick layer of paint now covering the cap.

Dealer told me this was the third one he had done just in the last four months. My Blue Ridge, another Blue Ridge, and a Jayco. He told me that it is not unusual as the factory typically "farms out" the factory painting and the vendor gets "paid by the piece" so they do a crappy job.

Evidently there is a certain range of vin numbers which have this problem. I purchased a 2014 Wildcat Maxx 27RLS last fall and have the same problem.. I contacted the manufacturer and they said my vin was in the range of affected units. Working now with the dealer who sold it to me. If they are unable to assist then the Forest River plant will step in. Contact Forest River via their website. They got back to me within 24 hours.
