Fiberglass front cap cleaning

The front cap on my fifth wheel has some sun hazing on the top section of it. I tried some automotive compound with poor results. Anybody have some suggegestions for me? Thanks in advance

Did you use fiberglass refinisher ? Most boat polishes or refinishers do a great job. It needs to be good for fiberglass gel coated surfaces.,

I have a 2011 28RKS Wildcat TT. Can some one tell me if the exterior is gel coat. I've cleaned all the bug stains off my front cap and tried polishing it today with a RV polish from Canadian Tire and the results are horrible. Badly streaked, ultra shiny and hazy patches etc.
Looking for a fix.

Probably not going to want to hear this but mine was terrible and was probably never waxed before I bought it but I had to take a white wool buffing pad "made for compound" and a real buffer at about1200 rpm. I use a dewalt buffer I got from amazon "not a orbital" and compound the oxidation off which is causing the bad streaking you are seeing then finish up with a polish and a black foam pad to a high gloss then wax it with a marine fiberglass wax I use meguiers which works great! Now you will need to get the polish, compound and pads from a auto body supply store because it's professional grade stuff and is the real deal unlike the junk from advance auto.. Hope this helps...

Good deal! It will shine up just like new I just did mine about 2 weeks ago!! Just put about 3 to 4 coats of a good fiberglass wax when your done buffing and you will be good to go! Derek

Another question......does yours have decals on the front and fix so did u work around them or include them in the process.
