Fixing side seam

Looking for some help. I have a 2008 Flagstaff Classic Super Lite 829 BHSS and the front nose cone seam on the left side has a gap from the bottom to aprox half way up. What should I use to reseal it? There is a narrow hard white strip of some sort of sealant that runs completely along this seam that is still attached from 1/2 way to the top.

Can you post a picture of it?

You most likely need to remove the moulding, reseal and replace it.

If it's just needing to be re-caulked, FR recommends a caulk manufactured by Silaprene. Most dealers stock it or it can be ordered through FR's parts department.

If the front cap is beginning to seperate, I would use about anything for now as a temp fix just to keep any water damage form happening, then I would take it to a repair shop to have them check it out. There would be a reason why the front cap is beginning to seperate and I would think it will only get worse with time.

The camper sat for about a year before we bought it and had only been used once. We took it out for a shakedown trip close to home then hauled it 2500 miles round trip that's when I noticed the cracked along the inside seam on the front along the trim. I applied some fresh caulking and then noticed the side. The cracks are about the thickness of a business card and equal on both sides. Could the trailer be just settling or the caulking be dried out from sitting in the sun uncovered?
