Is it high enough to possibly be from the end of a bicycle handlebar?

GO COCKS!!!!
I hope your camping neighbors weren't TATERS.

Sorry about your troubles. Some good ideas here on how to fix.

RVEagle, I agree with you. In the first picture, the right side is the rear of your trailer. The impact came from an angle from the front. There is no scraping or tearing on the piece that was punched in so it was probably a fairly smooth, hard object. Looks about the size of a golf ball? I'd suggest that if it happened on the trip to the campground you would have seen it when setting up so it likely happened after that while you were away.

Insurance should cover that, it's too new to be just doing a cover up.

I hate this site. Now I have to confess too.

I can't figure what gouged yours. But on the trip home from the dealer, I found a long scratch ALL down the side of my new billion dollar trailer. I can see on the picture I took while hooked up at dealer's lot, ready to leave, that it isn't there. So, I did it on the way home

Only culprit I can conjure is the Shell station in north Nashville, TN.......although I never 'felt' or saw it scrape the side of anything.

And no sooner did I get home but the folding ladder I use to heft my fat butt up into the back of truck to connect the hitch, was setting next to trailer in driveway and I somehow knocked it against the trailer next to the door, making a dent.

I will call them "character marks".

But mine have nowhere near the 'character' that yours does! I vote for a way into trailer to make an "inlet" (I learned that word this week) plug, to plug to the separate 20amp plug at camp pedestals!
